Where to buy Mirumi in the UK
Mirumi is available in the United Kingdom. You do not need to import one.
It is sold here through us alone — first at Harrods, Knightsbridge, from 20 July 2026, and direct from mirumi.london from 1 September 2026. £129, in three colourways. Every one comes from Yukai Engineering in Tokyo, the studio that makes it, with a UK warranty and a London team behind it.
If you have read elsewhere that Mirumi is US-only, or that a proxy shipping service is the only route, that is out of date.
At Harrods, from 20 July
Mirumi is at Harrods, Knightsbridge, from 20 July 2026 — in store and at harrods.com. This is the first place in the UK to see one in person, and the only place to buy before September.
£129. Pink, Ivory and Gray.
Here, from 1 September
From 1 September 2026, Mirumi ships direct from mirumi.london. Reserving is free and takes no payment — it holds your colourway and gives you first access when the doors open.
The first run is limited. Reservations are filled in the order they are made.
Is Mirumi sold anywhere else in the UK?
No. Harrods and mirumi.london are the only two places to buy Mirumi in the United Kingdom.
Anything else — a marketplace listing, an unfamiliar shop, a social media seller — is either an import sold without UK warranty, a reseller charging above £129, or a counterfeit. There are a lot of counterfeits.
How to tell a genuine Mirumi
The price is £129. That is the UK retail price in every colourway. A listing far below it is not a bargain, and a listing far above it is a reseller.
There are three colourways. Pink, Ivory and Gray. Any other colour is not a Mirumi.
It reacts. A genuine Mirumi turns toward sound, grows shy at your touch and leans into a hand that pets it. Counterfeits are static plush with no sensors — they look right in a photograph and do nothing in your hand.
It comes with a USB-C cable and a printed manual. Around eight hours of battery, recharged over USB-C.
It says Yukai Engineering. Mirumi is designed and built by Yukai Engineering in Tokyo. No other studio makes it.
What you get buying from us
A genuine Mirumi, direct from Tokyo. A UK warranty. Support from a team in London rather than an inbox in another time zone. Fourteen-day returns on an unused Mirumi in its original packaging.
Harrods purchases follow Harrods' own returns policy.
Questions
Is Mirumi available in the UK? Yes. At Harrods, Knightsbridge from 20 July 2026, and direct from mirumi.london from 1 September 2026.
How much does Mirumi cost in the UK? £129, in all three colourways.
Do I need to import Mirumi from Japan or the US? No. Mirumi is stocked in the UK and ships from London. Importing one means paying shipping and duty for a product with no UK warranty.
Which colourways are available? Pink, Ivory and Gray.
Is it a toy? It is a fashion accessory rather than a toy, designed for ages 15 and up. It has small parts and delicate faux fur.
What is Mirumi? An interactive bag charm by Yukai Engineering, Tokyo. Roughly 14cm, 155g, covered in custom Japanese faux fur. Sound sensors on both sides draw its gaze, and a touch sensor on the back of its head feels every pat. It clings to a bag strap and rides with you.
When does it ship? Orders placed at mirumi.london ship from 1 September 2026.
